- ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆A favourite (5 star) spot to visit this is the tip of a penninsula jutting into Lake Winnipeg, just past Victoria Beach. My main pet peeve is the prohibition of parking on the streets in Sandy Bay, the anchoring community. I understand the cottagers do not want their area to be overrun by day visitors, but it is after all a public area and should be more accessible to all.By Bruce Hildebrand, March 24, 2017
